Old School Gaming

This was a blast. An absolute blast. We started out wanting to do something with Smash Bros., but realized what we were really interested in was just the classic video game characters. So we didn't bother with Cloud, Ryu, Snake or whomever and just zeroed in on the characters from the most iconic franchises of the arcade, NES, and Genesis eras of gaming. It's 95% NES, but we felt people would hang us if we didn't add Sonic (because apparently people like that guy for some reason? ;)) and Pac-Man was the originator of it all so we widened our range a bit.

Here's the full list of characters (starting at the top left): Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden), Duck Hunt, Zelda, Simon Belmont (Castlevania), Earthworm Jim, Excite Bike, Pac-Man, Kid Icarus, Black Mage (Final Fantasy), Kirby, Princess Peach, Li'l Mac, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Mega Man, Mario, Luigi, Sonic. The background is Tetris.
