"While having the worst name of the MM1 bosses, and possibly in the Top 5 worst of the whole series, Guts Man was easily one of my very favorite to design and one of the bots I'm most proud of. He feels like a robot built for construction who could be a big softy inside, when Dr. Wily's evil programming isn't forcing him to be a villain. I also really like how Mega Man's Strong Arm weapon turned out. This is probably the best single image to distill all the things I was trying to accomplish with this redesign project.
